Organized WordPress Translation Day on 11th May by contributing Hindi Translations
We organized an event on behalf of WordPress Udaipur Meetup Group, to introduce benefits of WordPress Open Source to more people. Also, I was the host for this WordPress Translation Day 4. Before this, I have organized the WordPress Translation Day 3 event also.
What is WordPress Translation Day?
WordPress Translation Day is a 24-hour global event dedicated to the translation of the WordPress ecosystem (core, themes, plugins) to make WordPress accessible in more and more languages. It’s a unique and innovative event, a cool mix of digital and physical: the international community of the WP Polyglots will meet at the same time locally and digitally for a 24-hour translating marathon that will provide inspiration and training to both coders and translators on-localizing and internationalizing through live talks and local meetups.
WordPress Translation Day event hosted at IdeaBox Creations, and we aimed to make WordPress accessible in the Hindi language.
The event started at 11 PM with a little bit of introduction that what is WordPress Translation Day and why it is important to us. We guided to beginners to contribute to WordPress Translation, and they enjoyed that.
